By downloading, installing, or using Read the Air ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Read the Air is a free educational entertainment app that displays Japanese expressions with their literal translations and actual meanings. The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including but not limited to phrase collections, descriptions, translations, UI design, and branding, is owned by Read the Air and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

You are free to share individual phrase cards generated by the App's built-in share feature for personal, non-commercial purposes.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated means to access our API or scrape content
• Redistribute or commercially exploit the App's content
• Attempt to interfere with the App's functionality or servers

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Translations and explanations are provided for entertainment and educational purposes. They may not reflect all possible interpretations or usage contexts of Japanese expressions.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Read the Air shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
